The Kapok Group provides strategic counseling to clients in the design and development of sustainable projects and companies.  Our work, both at the project and organizational level, is focused in the following areas:  Climate Change; Renewable Energy; Ecosystem Services; and Corporate Responsibility.

Climate Change

The Kapok Group assists organizations in preparing for the transition to a low carbon economy.  Our services are designed for organizations that need to manage and mitigate climate-change related risks or those that are looking to capitalize on opportunities in providing the solutions to the challenge of global climate change.

Renewable Energy

The Kapok Group works with organizations that exist to provide renewable energy solutions to end-use customers or to consult to organizations – like companies, municipalities, schools, and hospitals – to help them navigate the maze of governmental incentives that currently subsidize this sector.

Ecosystem Services

From healthier food to fresher air and cleaner water, we often take for granted the services we receive from Earth’s ecosystems.  We work with organizations focused on improving the delivery of these services through restoration of natural processes and implementation of market-based sustainability programs.

Corporate Responsibility

We work with companies and organizations of all sizes to assess the sustainability of their operations, to implement internal and external sustainability initiatives and supply chain programs, to engage with stakeholders, to prepare sustainability reports utilizing the Global Reporting Initiative framework, and to otherwise communicate results of those initiatives in compliance with advertising and SEC requirements.
